Could I ask a favor? Would someone keep one burning for our pilot Barry while I am gone? Barry is a good man and a great pilot (the one who steers the boat when the Captain is off) . All last trip he was in pain with something in his back and nothing he did or took helped. Now they have found he has some rare form of bone cancer and he will not be making crew change with us tomorrow. He is in dire need of all the help we can give him with prayers and candles...
Also keep one burning for my Captain Barney who just lost his Mom and it has hit him really hard. He is having a really hard time dealing with her loss.. Any of you who have lost both parents know how hard it is when you loose the last one. I tried warning how how much harder it would be to loose his Mom than it was when he lost his Dad but he thought he was ready... Now he realizes he was not and it is consuming him, he thinks he is going crazy with grief.
