Last year I received a "final notice" for a bill that my ins. co. didn't cover. However, I never received a first notice to begin with, so when I received the "final notice", I was surprised, to say the least. It was a couple thousand dollars so I asked if I could make it in 4 payments and I was told 'no' because this was my final notice. We went 'round and 'round and I ended up paying it all in one lump sum because I couldn't get the woman to understand that I had never received a notice at all until this final one.
