    Thank you everyone!
The only explanation that I can come up with is that tumours feed off sugar and since losing weight my blood sugar as gone down to normal so maybe I'm starving the tumours by getting my diabetes under control. Who knows.

R - stress at work??? Yes, it's still just as bad but I'm using some "tools" to handle it a bit better.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

Are any of them large hammer-like objects?

Seriously, glad you are finding ways to be a bit healthier and less stressed!

    September 14th

Apologies for bringing this thread to the forefront again. September 14th marks year 5 since I had surgery for lung cancer. They say that if you live 5 years after diagnosis, then it's all thumbs up. My CT scans are every year now and in August I had one as scheduled. Unfortunately they found something that may be scar tissue but they are not sure. I now have to revert back to CT scans every 3 months. My next one is November 7th. Regardless of how I feel, I must remember that every day is a gift, and they are gifts that I treasure.

Just thought I would share. I read through this whole thread and when I see what Phred posted, well, that just brings me LES.

Oh, and I meant to say that I received news today from my Mom that my cousin in the States just had a double mastectomy. It's times like this that I get so angry.....
