My doctor just called me. The results of my last CT Scan are normal. No new tumours and the ones I have, have not grown....in fact one of them has shrunk from 8 mm in January to 3 mm now.

I don't need another scan until August, 2010. While I will never be cancer free I would like to think that I'm now in some kind of remission.

This is so much more than I hoped for. As far as I'm concerned, this is my payment for writing my LOA cheque.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

That sounds great! You must feel so relieved to have a whole 'nother year before you need another scan! Congratulations, and sending you hugs!
