I barely had time to watch any Nascar coverage this weekend and did not know about Denny's grandma until after the race. I still had a feeling it was his week...wore my Denny Gear saturday and Sunday. I was out for today and had to go with Tony, but was still rooting Denny on. Way to go #11!

Tony had a bad day, but still got a top 10 out of it. Just frustrating that Jimmie had a bad day going too, and still got a top #15. Just once, can't they have a really bad day?

No, we weren't able to make it. My family reunion was this weekend, and with Ralph having to take his two weeks of vacation to the July shut-down earlier this month, he didn't have a time off to make along weekend out of it. Hopefully he willhave a little more freedom with his vacation time next year...

Anyone notice that the invocation for today's race went something like this??

"Thank you God for the Heluva Good race?"

There is nothing dignified about having to climb out your window when you are going to do road rage battle.

Rain delays are good for some people! I'm so happy Denny. It's been 50 races since he won...he definitely deserved it!
