My cat, Ming, gets meds on a daily basis and will for the rest of his life. He's fine, just subject to FLUTD, which the meds control very well. He used to scratch, bite, and leave me bleeding everytime I gave him a pill. He would not touch the Pill Pockets, but I came up with a solution that works. I wrap the pill in a little bit of the Pill Pocket and then have my son hold the cat. We pet him and give him scritichies while we talk very nicely to him. Guess what? The pill goes down without a struggle at all! This has been going on for over two weeks and it makes such a big difference! If I don't get uptight about pill time, Ming doesn't either.
