Round 3 of 28 random things

1. I love a thunder storm. The smell of negative charged air rejuvenates me.

2. My favorite plant is the Crepe Myrtle.

3. A loud gun shot in my 20's left me tone deaf. I especially have problems hearing the female voice.

4. My all time favorite movie is “Another place in time”.

5. I do not like shows that go out of their way to show blood and gore. This seems to be a new trend that plagues many shows that I would other wise love.

6. I was almost 5 before I had my first hair cut. i think my mother wanted another girl.

7. I had a pet Jenny mule as a kid. She was the alarm clock for everyone in a 5 mile radius. Her morning bray was unreal. When we finally found a new home for her we had people calling wanting to know what happen to Josephine their alarm.

8. The most trouble I got into as a kid was killing My fathers prize Golden Pheasant rooster by accident with my BB gun.

9. The number of my favorite NASCAR driver.

10. I still have my wisdom teeth.

11. I found 3 baby snakes and took them home with me as a kid. Turns out they were Copperheads. I was lucky because even a baby snake has deadly venom.

12 The number of my all time favorite quarterback, Joe Namath.

13. When I was a kid I was self conscience about my ears. I have since grown into them. They are still big but they are no longer an issue for me

14. I had a pet alligator for a short time as a 10 year old. I had to find it a new home after my mother almost stepped on it one night when she got up for my baby sister's two am feeding. Up until I heard her screams my pet had been my secret.

15. When i was 16 my first auto accident was because of a game of chase. I rolled my car in a family's side yard uprooting 2 trees and scooping up hundreds of Canna lily bulbs with my wheel well. BIG Trouble. Lost my car for months and had to landscape the yard.

16. My first fishing trip as a kid was at my uncles in Florida. I didn't catch a fish but did catch a huge alligator. Needless to say my uncle let the alligator have the fly hooked in the roof of his mouth.

17. Another teen adventure had me hitching a ride on train pulling old passenger cars. When the train was suppose to stop it didn't and my friend and I had to jump from the moving train at 35 miles an hour.

18. One night while walking home from church a friend of mine drove up in a Jeep and ask if I wanted a ride. Rather than driving me home he proceeded to drive to the woods and ditched the Jeep. He informed me he had stolen the Jeep from a National guard armory, He had run away from home and needed away to get back. At the time we were both 15. This delinquent is now a prominent doctor in North Carolina and married to my first girlfriend at 13.

19. I usually have a good memory but when it comes to movies I don't. I can start watching a movie I've seen and keep thinking this looks familiar but can not remember anything about it until I'm seeing it. That goes for the ending also.

20. I had to repeat the first grade. I moved 3 times that first year.

21. All males on both sides of my family died in their early seventies. My mother lived to be 84 and her mother 103. I am hoping I have their genes instead of my fathers.

22. I never get hungry or thirsty.

23. The number X 3 that will equal my age in March.

24. I dislike the CSI type of show. They are so bogus.

25. When I was 7 years old I would ride the bus 10 miles to go the the Mickey Mouse Club at the Alabama Theater. Today you would never even think about allowing a 7 year old out anywhere alone. Things,at least in the south, were different back then.

26. I converted a hearing aid into a radio when I was in high School. I got caught when my teacher told my sister I needed to have my hearing aid adjusted because I could never hear her. My sister told her I was not hard of hearing and did not wear a hearing aid. Oh well it was good while it lasted.

27. The only ball sport that I care for is College Football. The Super bowl was the only Pro game I watched all year.

28. My Social Security card has my first name as Billy. I got my card when I was 11 and had no idea my name was really William. I have since corrected all my records but the only card I have ever owned said Billy.

This looks like fun.

1. I'm getting married in a little over three weeks.

2. I've been stressing out enormously lately because I feel like I passed up so many opportunities and haven't gone as far as I should have.

3. My dog sleeps next to my bed, but as soon as hubby gets up in the morning he hops under the covers and snuggles with me.

4. One of my kitties is the softest cat I have ever felt.

5. I had my tubes tied last year.

6. All but one of my close friends are men.

7. I don't have a cell phone. And I don't miss having one.

8. I graduated from college last year, but being a vet tech made me almost suicidal so I quit.

9. I go to Hooters at least once a week for fried pickles.

10. I dated another girl briefly in high school.

11. I want to donate to a pit bull rescue instead of having favors at my wedding.

12. I live with my mother-in-law, and I don't mind it.

13. I hate the snow, but I want to live in Boulder, CO.

14. I have a motorcycle.

15. I just made peanut butter brownies from scratch. They came out so-so.

16. I think the idea of losing weight just for a wedding is stupid. Change your lifestyle to be healthier, but don't starve yourself to fit into that Vera Wang.

17. I am addicted to LUSH bath products. I spent a whole bunch on them yesterday and now paying the bills next month is going to be tight.

18. I am bi-polar and have problems with anxiety.

19. I met my hubby through his sister, who I went to school with.

20. I would like it very much if my father dropped off the face of the earth.

21. I get jealous of other people easily.

22. I drive a 20 year old Buick. I think it's gorgeous.

23. I hate kids. No, seriously. I hate it more when people find this out and act all patronizing about it.

24. Glacier made the gifts I'm giving my bridesmaids, and they are exquisite. It has been SO hard not to show them off to the girls already.

25. I love Food Network

26. I've been grouchy this week, so I've made a point not to invite friends over. It's a little lonely.

27. I've been super laid-back about most of the wedding stuff, but one friend can't give me a solid answer on if he's bringing a guest and for some reason it's making me CRAZY.

28. I had a panic attack at work this week. I've never had one before. My chest hurt so badly I thought I was going to have to go to the hospital.

8. I like cats, but I'm not sure if I will have them when I grow up because sometimes I get really mad when I have to clean up their messes.

9. I love dogs.

11. Christmas is my favorite holiday. Sometimes I feel like crying when it is over.

12. I used to collect toilet paper tubes and pudding cups, just in case I could use them for something.

13. I am collecting paper clips and making a necklace with them.

14. I like to eat sweet things.

15. I really don't like going to the dentist and to the doctor.

16. I have two 12 inch by 8 inch (approximately) bins filled with rocks from our canyon property.

17. I save money all year in order to have enough to buy Christmas presents for my family and friends.

18. I'm not interested in lotions, perfume, and fashionable clothing.

19. Until I met my neighbor's Golden, Shelby, I was terrified of dogs.

20. I get new food dishes for Princess and Duchess every year, and save all their old ones.

21. I sleep with my favorite stuffed animal.

22. I sometimes look forward to going to bed because of the dreams I might have.

23. I can see my tongue without looking in a mirror or any reflective surface.

24. I can wink only with my left eye.

25. I am a Pokèmon fan, and my favorite Pokèmon is one I made up.

26. I don’t think I could stand it if I had to walk around the house barefoot all the time. I always wear socks.

27. I *think* I am 5’ 6”.

28. There are many sounds that I hate hearing, like the sounds of people sneezing/sniffling and chewing, especially if they are eating something crunchy.
