I realize you might not know this....not being an American and all...

But she is not the first woman to run for vp...nor the first woman to run for vp who also had children.

That would have been Geraldine Ferrero. In 1984. She has three children.

Her selection gave her running mate - Walter Mondale - a bump in the polls. It did not last until the election.

Do you know what the ages of her children where in 1984?

EDIT: I found it. In 1984 her children where 18, 22, and 24. Not a fair comparison of the 2 canidates.

ES, I haven't commented on Ayers or the "reverend" Wright because I share the concerns of those who brought it up as an issue. Sen. Obama has chosen to associate with a terrorist and a bigot, which shows serious flaws in judgement.

I also have doubts about the judgement of Sen. McCain and his choice of running mate, but it doesn't have a damned thing to do with what she's wearing.

Frankly, if I could pull the lever for "none of the above", I would.

What about the judgement of Gov Palin...in accepting all that loot? That is what this thread is about. Sorry the humor and fun we were having with it confused you.

Check out the "new and improved" Sarah Palin. Fancy duds for a plain old
hockey mom. Can you say, "all style & no substance".
