I'm so disappointed *Update 10/8* see #29

So nice that not only did they send a card but one that was carefully chosen for Puddy.

I want to believe that it was chosen for Puddy but they have an office cat who is a big calico girl. They're partial to calicos there. I'm not finding fault, though. I appreciate the card and the fact that the calico on the front of it looked so much like Puddy made it that much sweeter. I really think they miss her, too. They'd always laugh at her in her healthier days because when I'd leave, I'd say "Tell everyone what you think of Dr. Lee" and she'd hiss and it would crack everyone up. And when Dr. Lee would call to check on her if she was in hospital, they'd say "Well, she's hissing and growling" and he'd say "That's all I needed to hear". She definitely left her impression in this world. On this chilly, gray, rainy day I wish I could stroke her fur while she laid on my chest as I watched TV. One fine day, as Gary would say.

Oh, I'm so glad to hear this, Mary. And it does sound as though Dr. Lee picked that Scripture verse especially with you and Puddy in mind. And this will be a beloved keepsake to remind you of her and all you did together and the wonderful, special love you and she share forever.

Yes, I think that I may frame the card. It's really special. If I thought my scanner would pick it up clearly, I'd scan and post it so that you could see how much the calico on the cover of the card looks like Puddy.
