I know, we really NEED Gonchar back. Our defense is hurting. They also really have to play with the lines to see who is going to work well together, after the changes over the summer. Don't worry about the 3-0 score. The Penguins put a lot of rubber on net, but Auld was a wall. Ya got beat that night by a good goalie.
Indeed... The Penguins, if anything, will be exciting to watch. They play a fast, north south kind of game. It will be hard to trap against them. BUT, that north south kind of puck movement can lead to turnovers... So Fluery is going to have to be good and not give up goals on weak first shots.
Malkin plays on the left side, right? If so, if I were the coach (LOL) I would run a left wing lock. At least with his line out there. If anybody can change directions in a hurry, its him.
