Now, how about the Next Ressipee Problem?

About every other step or so, the Action Verb of the instruction is usually
written in some cryptic foreign language ... requiring a lengthy search for the meaning. --OR--
It's some overly simplistic term with multiple common meanings ...

"Cook" ... OK, HOW?? FAST, slow, hot, burning hot, with or w/o water, oil, skins, leaves ???

"Saute" ... Gehzuntite! ... Burn it in Oil ... OK, how do you know when to quit?

"Bring to a Boil, then COOK ..." ~ For the luvva ___! ~ Whas'sa difference?
... Are we gonna BOIL it or are we gonna COOK it?
... Whadda ya do between Boil and Cook ... stand on your head?

Betty and I never seemed to be speakin the same language.

I know I'm in trouble when I open the Wrong End of the can ...
and then can't read all the How To instructions on the label.

No. I was one of those annoying kids who asked a lot of questions, so owe it to Grandma Peterson (whose only child, my Dad, was probably not nearly as annoying) to patiently answer all questions for the rest of my life! That, and children in my family are encouraged to help in the kitchen starting at age 4 ...
