Sorry, but this all revolves around cancer.
1. Was diagnosed with cancer and had sir jury.
2. At that time, I really found out who my real friends are.
3. Battle with cancer has totally changed my outlook on life and people.
4. I now take one day at a time and really appreciate things and events more.....especially the small things, like a sunset.
5. I never sweat the small stuff anymore.
6. I learned soooo much about myself and my faith....they/we are both stronger than I ever thought. I know I can beat anything now.
7. I love much deeper now (yeah I know it's a line from a song but it's true).
8. I give more hugs.
9. I'm more open about my feelings. I tell people and friends that I love them all the time. On the other end of the scale, I have learned to put myself first and have a new found self confidence. I can handle conflict much better.
10. Through it all, I found out how loved I am and will never, ever take that love for granted.
Oh yes, and my objectives for 2007 are.....................
Stay cancer free, go to the UK in June and go to Findlay in September.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!
