It's wonderful to see Sammy at home, enjoying Christmas so much - what a trooper she is!

Just look at her expression holding that doll - and telling daddy what to do next, setting that thing up. LOL! Sitting on Santa's knee was a hit too, I imagine.

Sam is 4!!! Hard to believe.

She's doing pretty well, and had a pretty healthy winter.
Her kidneys are doing about the same; we go back for labs later this month.

We visited both Shriners' Hospitals last month;
her skin looks good, and they were pleased w/her prosthetics progress in Lexington. The docs there agree that the new walker was a good choice.

Sam's working hard in PT, and now can get around on her legs,
using her walker, pretty much by herself.
Sam's still enjoying herself in preschool as well.

We're all just waiting for spring, so we can get out a little more!
