Oh, Val, I am so glad to hear Duke ate his boiled egg and some chicken, mixing the canned chicken in sounds a real good idea too.

I've been boo'dMerlin my angel
Still praying for Duke. Great to hear that he is eating al little on his own! As far as not eating his dogfood - who knows? When I've fed mine real meat, fish, eggs, etc., they seem to go "on strike" about their dogfood..spoiled!![]()
Come on, Duke, take another bite!
My childhood pup, Barney, had pancreatitis. He was born in 1976 (5 years before me) and he died in 1994. Yep, he was 18 years old. He was also diabetic from the age of 12. Pancreatitis is a lot of ups and downs, but don't give up. I know you're not giving up, just giving you extra encouragement.
Billy and Willy! (2 of my 4)
I have been a little out of touch on this thread. Just tried to do a quick read through to catch up. So Duke's bloodwork came out well, and he is starting to eat a little better? But, he has a follow-up visit tomorrow at the vet to get his med's straightened out. Is that correct? Hope all goes well, and that this is just a little glitch that comes with the change in seasons (as much as it changes down there), and the Duke is soon feeling like his old self again soon.
