    I *think* Valerie still is on vacation-- and Duke is at home (where it's probably way warmer!) -- So she probably won't be able to post pictures until she gets home, unless she is already!

    Thanks everyone! Yep, I don't leave until Sunday afternoon. I sure miss my Duke baby. Can't wait to snuggle up with him again. Been wearing my bracelet almost the whole time up here. KayAnn, I love spending time with your special pups as well. And, there's a warm place in my heart for you. Especially for showing Duke and I the joys of the dog beach. It's become a really special place and I have lots of good memories, and pics because of it. Thanks to everyone here for making this such a special place, as well.

    Congrats Val! I really must say that you are one of my favorite Pet Talkers as well. You and Duke have a speacial place in my heart too. You are a very kind and sweet person. I feel very honored to have gotten to get to know you, and talk to you. Getting to know Duke was absolutley great too. So, congrats again on your 2000th post. I LOVE to read your posts, and I love hearing and seeing pics of Duke dog. I hope to see more pics when you get home. You are a very wonderful person Val, and a great friend.

    I wish people wouldn't be so sad when someone beats them to posting about someone reaching a new level of pillarhood. It's the thought that counts, not who posted it first. And it seems that lately many people get upset because it was posted before they could do it.
