Duke seems to be feeling a lot better today. He had his rawhide ready to play with me when I got home. However, I'm a little worried because now I can't even get him to eat any chicken. His bloodwork is in and I'm waiting for the vet to call me back and read it to me. I hope I don't have to take him back but if he doesn't start eating soon, I will. He's been eating nothing but a little chicken since Thursday evening.
Here's Duke and Doogie yesterday before I left for work

And here he is this morning, ready to play

What can I do to make him eat? Also, he hasn't had a good bm in a few days. Don't know if I should be worried or not.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

Fur as dark as the night.
    Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

I would think that if he hasn't been eating that he wouldn't have a good BM. Hmmm.... to entice him to eat? Did you try cheese? Carrots? Beef Hot dogs? Baloney? Food is food at this point, and I know a lot of dogs like the things I just mentioned. Try to find nice smelly food like Baloney to entice him.

If he hasn't eaten well I wouldn't worry too much about the bm. I think Kim has a good idea, something smelly may entice him.
