Rain here in Seattle but cought this in a few second reprieve.

from another side of Seattle, last summer.

Hiking up by Mt. Rainer, area called Green Water.

hiking by Snoqualmie Falls, this water fall is called Franklin Falls.

Same place, just farther down the river. I sat up the camera and ran back to get in the shot.

and last, the tulips in April in the Skagett Valley.

But really, mostly rain here now. Around 3" yesterday. Some areas had more. But it keeps us green.

These were taken on Christmas Eve in my front yard. We only have 1 or 2 days where the trees are these pretty colors here. They're green most of the year and then turn fall colors in December for a day or two lol. And now they're bare, and will be like that until March.

    The definition of rural is:
    1. Of, relating to, or characteristic of the country.
    2. Of or relating to people who live in the country: rural households.
    3. Of or relating to farming; agricultural.

Do you mean that you live in an urban area?

I have a few nature pics and some of my neighbor's house being torn down to share, but that will have to be later, for now I have to go home.
    These are beautiful, btw!

The pictures I posted on page 2 were at my old house. We moved in May and here are some pictures from our new house/yard.

Awesome photos everyone. The Grand Canyon is stunning.

St Georges Lake at Creswick, Victoria, Australia.. about a 15 minute drive from home. This photo was taken a few weeks back, when all the blossom tree's were starting to bloom.

Taken a couple of years ago at the beach.

    Caves at the beach.

Our front garden last year, all of the plants are well established now and are thriving .

More to come as i find them....

    Wow beautiful pictures everyone!

Glacier - I love yours..especially the second one. I would love to live in a place like that!

I don't really live around alot of nature. Just a few boring forests around my neighbourhood
