I watched a show, Intervention it had a girl on that cut herself. It was very, very sad. When people cut they are trying to get rid of the pain they are feeling inside. It's the only way they know how to deal with their pain. They are sick and need help so it shouldn't gross people out. They deserve some compassion with that said I think your story is very well written. Do you want to be a writer?
