Please don't be so hard on yourself, sweetie. Like everyone else said, it was an accident. I too have accidentallly stepped on paws and tails from time to time and I always feel terrible, but it's always accidental. My Marius in particular loves to literally be underfoot, which oftentimes causes me to trip over or step on him. He still hasn't learned! Your girl will be just fine. Give her some lovins when she comes home and she won't think anything of it
