I didn't have patience. In fact, I felt like I was going to blow up!Its just that my parents didn't raise me to be rude like those kids' parents did
, so I was afraid I'd get a scolding if I said what I wanted to say.
I did my best to keep the kids under control, and I was with my birds the WHOLE time, but deep down inside, I wanted to tell them to pack up and leave.
I just HATE when kids under 9 come to our house. Most of them are idiots! Ugh! Kids and pets don't mix in most cases. I was just SO mad that after all that, she told me to leave the birds at her house if we ever go on vacation!
What does she think my birds are?!? Toys for her kids?!? YEAH RIGHT! If she "ever" comes again, and her kids torment my pets, I'll really have to teach them a lesson. It was their first time at our house, but now I'll make sure my mom doesn't invite them again! I was NEVER like this as a child. I remember going to my friend's house to see her kittens after her cat gave birth to six little ones. I was only 6 at the time. I remember that her mom let me hold them for a minute and after that she told us to leave them because they needed rest, and we listened immediately and went to play with toys, etc. I just can't understand how some people raise their kids. THEY JUST WON'T LISTEN! And the worst part is, they won't listen AT ALL to me. If my mom or someone tells them to stop, they won't listen, but after nagging them to stop, they eventually will (for 2 minutes). Me on the other hand.............they argue that I'm not a mom and they don't have to listen to me!
Well its my house and MY pets, and I sure don't have to listen to them!
I don't care if the mother was mad at me for protecting my babies. My feathered kids mean far more to me than her mannerless kids. I don't care for the happiness of HER kids. I care for the happiness and safety of my pets.
