    Jen,
If I send a cheque can I have the receipt made out and mailed to you? I can't claim U.S. charitable receipts up here so they are no good to me.

Slick, that is very sweet Thank you. A person can give a charitable donation as a gift. The gift recipient would get the receipt and the deduction. So note with the check that this is a gift (of a donation) to me. They'll know my address

Have any of you seen the kitties that you can sponsor? I'm absolutely in love with the kitty Clownie and have contacted the lady in charge to see if I can sponsor him. It's too bad he lives so far away!

    {{{{HUGS}}}} to you

Clownie is a wonderful little girl. She has a tendency to be scared until you win her trust, but she is as soft as silk and is very friendly with people she knows. All she needs is a chance to settle into a new home. If you could sponser her, that would be TERRIFIC!

The lady from the group emailed me back

This is what her email said:

Hi Sarah. Thanks for your interest in our sponsorship program.
Sponsorship involves a $10 donation per month. You can pay monthly,
quarterly, annually, whatever fits your budget. You mail you check payable
to One by One Inc to me at:
    One by One Sponsorship Program
    Marianne Egan
    76 Gould Lane
    Fleetwood PA 19522

I will send you a photo of your kitty and let you know when he/she is
    adopted, etc.
You can choose a kitty, or I can choose one for you.
Someone is coming to our shelter to see Clownie and Twinnie tonight for a
    possible adoption.
This would be great! These two were so frightened when they arrived. They
    have come a long way
and are very affectionate now and will be great together. I will let you
    know.

How did you learn of our Sponsorship Program?

I'm so happy for those two! Clownie is beautiful and deserves a wonderful home. I told the woman I will be sending out a check today!

Callie's mom......thank you again and we can certainly find you a kitty to sponser if Clownie gets the home of her dreams.

Gary....I have already sold the mice, 3 for $5 and the money goes to One by One from you. The cats thank you.
