Please welcome our new addition, Suzy

Let me tell you a little bit on how I got little Suzy.

As you know I do rescue work and this little girl was found by a couple in a woodpile back in the beginning of May. She was wet, cold and crying her little heart out. Thank goodness her cries were heard. The couple brought her to a vet right away and they said she was just 3 weeks old and apart from being dehydrated, was reasonably in good health. They got some formula from the vet and brought her home. BUT, they were not able to keep her, so I stepped in and took her in to care for her. She was under the care of the shelter that I foster for and her vet bills was taken care of by them. BUT, I just fell head over heels in love with this precious sweet little girl, that in the end I couldn't give her up.
Okay, enough with the talking and on with the pictures.

This picture was from the first day we got her.


Of course Surrogate Daddy Nugget had to make sure the baby was okay.
He kept trying to groom Suzy while I was feeding her. Too cute!


After Suzy finished eating, the hubby put her in his shirt pocket and she fell asleep.

Okay, these pictures are of an older Suzy. She is 7 months old now.

Do you think little Suzy needs to learn how to relax more?


I noticed that she was starting to grow ear tufts from behind the bottom back of her ears and tried to get a good picture of them. This was the best I could do.


This was taken recently, where you can see how much her ear tufts have grown.
I absolutely adore them and can't wait to see if they grow even longer.

Awww, Suzy! Your ear tufts are beautiful along with all the rest of you! And yes, I definitely think you need to learn how to relax more ! You were little tiny and precious, and now you are a big girl, 7 months old and so lovely! Is Nugget still your BFF? I wish you a very long, healthy and happy life, sweet Suzy!

Oh my Suzy you have turned in to one gorgeous stunning young lady, i love the picture of her hanging on the cat tree, half on ,half off, only a cat could be comfortable like that, and isn't it so cute that nugget is so caring, and takes a big interest in her, it looks like they all get along so well with the new addition.
