Sweet Chip

Chip the foster pup I had tested positive for Parvo and had to be euthanized this morning. He started getting sick on Saturday and stopped eating completely. Saturday night and Sunday he started vomiting and having diarreha and running a fever. When I took him last week he was very thin and unfortunately I did not have him long enough to build up his strength to fight the disease.

Rest in peace sweet Chip. Even though you were only on this earth for a short while - know that you will be sorely missed. Wait for me at the bridge with Foxy, Buster and Mickey and I will see you there. I'm thankful that for your last few days you knew love and kindness in my house.

Oh my goodness, Clara i am so sorry that Chip did not make it. You gave him the love that he so deserved in his last days, he will be forever gratefull for that. {{Hugs}}

Oh gosh I was in total dis-believe when I read this thread, I thought Chip only had kennel cough, this is so sad, he was such a sweet puppy.

I am so sorry for your loss, it must be very difficult, even though his life was short, he was loved so much, you did your best for chip, thank you for taking care of this sweet fellow , R.I.P at the RB darling Chip.
