Oh My Gosh My Pet Was Chosen!

Has your pet been chosen before? My amphibian (O'ryan) is today's pet, 03/27/07. I'm so shocked and amazed! If your pet has been chosen, what was the date and what was it + its name?

O'Ryan is so cool sounding and looking! What a neat pet! Congratulations on making pet of the day, handsome O'Ryan! Sorry you can't hear, talk or bite, but, you sure look like you're making the most of it.

My ex and I had a cat named Lock that once made it to Cat of the Day.

For those who have never seen a tiger salamander it's a medium breed salamander. The largest breeds of salamanders (greater sierin, japaneese salamander..ect) being several feet long, the tiger salamander can grow anywhere from 7"- about a foot. O'ryan is 10 inches long.

Awesome! Congrats! O'ryan is very handsome and sounds like a great salamander. I had a salamander for a pet once, but I had to let him go because he wouldn't eat anything I gave him.

I'm so happy your pet was chosen Mine haven't been yet, but I keep nominating them, I don't really know how the Pet of the Day's are chosen, if its a line up or randomly chosen.

Congrats to O'Ryan and to you too, Kalei! What an awesome creature he is, the first of his kind that I've had the pleasure of meeting Is it just me or is that smile I see on your adorable face? Thanks so much for sharing him with us, for the smiles; and I learned a lot too! Hope you're enjoying an extra special, fun and treat filled day celebrating your well earned reign as Pet of the Day...don't eat too much, O'Ryan Wishing you and your proud person many, many, many more joyful years of devoted companionship!

Wow, O'Ryan, you are so beautifully marked, and so long! I always envisioned salamanders as being only a few inches . . . what a pleasure to learn about and meet you today, sweetheart! I hope you have a wonderful celebration, swimming and eating and being on your guardian's stomach to bask in your spotlight as our fascinating POTD!

I have been lucky enough to have had one of my cats, Schuyler, chosen COTD and my since deceased horse, Tim, as POTD. It was so exciting to see them honoured!

I just saw where you asked if any ones' pet had been chosen before--My duck Jake got chosen September 10, 2006. She was chosen to be POTD 8 days before she died. So, having her have been POTD means a lot to me. She was a special girl

Congratulations! What a handsom boy he is! My guinea pig was pet of the day on April 5th 2007, and my other one's were chosen on April 30th 2006. It is such an honour, and it made my day (both times).
