    GREAT BIG new dog run!!

Woo Hoo!! happy huskies. Yesterday we (along with some friends' assistance) built a huge addition to our main dog run--43 posts, over 500 feet of fencing material. 7 feet high, buried underground, husky proof fencing. Enough room for a dang good game of chase, all the digging any husky can want, toys, towers, bones and dog houses.

    the posts are set!

    Happy huskies playing chase!

Delta checks out his new digs. Delta is the reason we built this pen--they had a large area before too. Delta has major issues and is extremely timid. He rarely leaves the pen--everything outside the fence is terrifying for him. So until we get past that, he has tons of room to spend his time in.

I'll try to get some better pictures on the weekend when it's light out.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

Fur as dark as the night.

In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.
