I have never raised kittens, but tehre are plenty people on here who have. My thoughts would be that momma has no milk. I would go and pick up Kitten formula from the pet store, and hand feed these poor babies. Good luck!

You should see if there are any cat rescue organizations in your area. Many have people experience in baby rescue.

remember to massage the babies belly with downward strokes to stimulate the bowels. Without this action the kitten can starve to death. that happened to me once. Try to simulate what appears to be the mama cat washing her young. A warm wet toweln works, but a q-tip will supply sufficient pressure without harming the kitty and is best.

Did you get powdered kitten formula? KMR is the usual brand. Cows milk won't do it. A clean syringe or eye dropper will work, but a bottle is good also.

The warmth is a good idea.

There are others here with more experience. Hopefully they will respond.

PLease type in lower case. ALL CAPS is hard to read and is the Internet equivalent of shouting. Many will not answer people who habitually write in ALL CAPS.

    Good luck with the kitten.

It's my understanding that its not too uncommon for mama to be dry, new mamas or even seasoned mamas. If she is dry then I just suggest grabbing the babies and bottle feeding them. I've had to do this for a family who didn't want to get their outdoor female cat fixed......... and she was a dry mom so I would always take and bottle raise her litters for them because I could do it and had the time and I wasn't going to have a litter of babies die on my watch.

Did you do the potty stimulating like mrspunkysmom suggested? How is the kitten? There is only one left, correct?
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

I've only done this once and my vet at that time told me a formula to mix and feed the kittens w/a baby doll bottle. But a syringe will work as well but kittens like to suckle. Be sure that the formula isn't too warm or cold. And remember to gently rub their bellies w/a warm wash cloth to stimulate bowel movements. Mama is supposed to lick their bellies and this does the same thing but it sounds like Mama can't do it. But most importantly, call your vet and/or a local resuce organization. They can tell you what to do. Good luck and please keep us posted.
    Blessings,
    Mary
