Today the ringing phone in the house was on ignore. We weeded a spot for the dogs to lay in & cool off & then tackled the jungle. We almost got lost between the carrots & beets but found our way out eventually. Those green & yellow beans a person can get them to last till November around here. Maybe the beans like the clay soil.;)
What are you going to do all the beans Steam, Boil, Can, Freeze, Eat, or all of the above? This a mutiple choice quiz. :D
Steam and freeze, eat, all of the above, really.
'Specially as he forgot to bring any to the party Saturday!
Jenn, great pictures of the garden, and the eggplant one is quite pretty! And of course I like the one with Lady's smallest (for now) humans in it!
Shaddup, you!
Good morning all! :)
We have fresh canteloupe with cottage cheese (one of my favorite summer breakfasts) with coffee on the bar. Help yourself!
Last night we had Tilapia with a garden saute of several kinds of peppers, green and yellow squash, tomatoes and onion (all picked right before cooking except the onion) and OUR FIRST OF THE SEASON SLICED TOMATOES on the side!! :D:D
We'll have leftovers at the bar later! :)
Just came from an early garden romp. Picked the raspberrys, green & yellow beans, & cuccumbers early on. Heat & humidity are due later today have to get out there while the dew is on everything. I'll help myself to the canteloupe & will be back in later ( have to go do some more weeding) for the left overs from Pinot's supper last night. Things taste really good when they sit in the fridge for a day & you reheat them. YUM! You have tomatos already :) that is . Ours are still green on the vine thinking about turning red.:D
