I don't know if this is the appropriate place to post these, but since I keep these links in my rescue folder, I thought this might be a good category for them.
Considering breeding your dog? Please, before you do, go through the following links quite thoroughly. They are quite realistic, even though some may not believe it.

Announcing the Miracle of Birth video tape!

As a rescuer, it pains me to the depths of my soul to see a post like the one I just read in another section of this website, where someone was looking for an Aussie to breed with. Because I know that (most likely) at least 75% of those pups will end up in rescue (if they are lucky) or the shelter.
I am not anti breeding - not if done to better the breed, by someone who knows what they are doing and has experience and support and is breeding a dog that has been proven to be a fine specimen of the breed, earning titles in the ring and field and having all health checks appropriate for that breed. But, if that is the case, then I seriously doubt that a person would be looking for a suitable mate on an internet message board. I would think that suitable mates would be found at the events they've accelled in.
I could be wrong, but that's just my belief.
