First of all I just love your name! What a creative human you have, although I would never call you "chunky." LOL! I was touched by your story because my husband also made the comment upon the loss of our dog (two dogs ago...ha!) that there would be no more dogs because the pain was too deep when they leave. Of course when you love dogs that is a ridiculous thing to say but at the time it doesn't seem that way.

Monkey you have helped heal hearts and anyone can see why. You are precious and special in your own right and I can see why everyone would want to pick you up and love you and not be able to stay mad at you.

My co-worker also adopted two sheltie puppies after her beloved sheltie went to the RB a few years ago. Many people thought she was crazy but it has turned out to be a double blessing for her and these puppies are as different as night and day, even coming from the same litter.

I know that your days now are filled with double the love! I wish Monkey and Gracie many many years of happiness with you and each other. Congratulations to you on DOTD!

P.S. My husband was born in Carlisle!

What a cute guy you are and what an adorable name. I'm so glad that you and Gracie (we need to see her picture too!) have filled that empty space in your Mom & Dad's hearts. Once owned by a Pom it seems you can never be without one!

Myndi (my black Pom) and her brother Sparky (ShihTzu) are sending out woofs and wags to you and hoping that you have an extra special day today and many, many years of health and happiness ahead.

mom & dad got you a play mate. I bet you and Gracie has enriched

We are in love with you and your name, Mr. Chunky Monkey!!! Such a cute little fella you are. Your Dad writes a wonderful story about you. We also believe that Hopper had alot to do with the meeting of you and your forever family. It's so hard to lose a beloved pet. We're very sorry that Hopper had to go to the bridge but he left a mark behind when he pointed you and Gracie out to Mom and Dad. It's the coolest thing on earth to be able to have Gracie with you. Congrats to all of you today as our family and doggie of honor. You make a very handsome DOTD, Monkey!!! Please tell the family we are sending kisses to add to the big celebration. Hey there cutie Chunky Monkey! What a precious, precious Pom you are! Oh my gosh...that's one BIG, snuggable, cuddly monkey pal you've got there! You do your much beloved predecessor Hopper so very proud, sweetheart! God bless you dear little one for coming to your family's rescue in their time of great need, after the passing of their best little buddy. You now hold your very own place in their hearts, right beside their Rainbow Bridge angel Hopper....uniquely different but every bit as special and loved! Wish I could give you a hug and kiss in person, but since that's not possible, I do hope your Mom Lisa or proud Papa will do that for me! And a few for your fursib Gracie too of course!
