    Marley and Me Author in BG

    The author of Marley & Me, John Grogan will be in Bowling Green, Ohio at 7pm on October 11 (Wednesday night). Anyone insterested in going?

    From the Toledo Blade:

    John Grogan, author of Marley and Me, will have a reception at 4:30 p.m. Oct. 11 at the Wood County District Public Library, 251 North Main St. Later at 7 p.m. he will speak at the Bowling Green High School gym. Free, but tickets required. Suggested donation $2. Information: 419-352-5104.

    I'd love to, but being a weeknight and being almost 3 hours away... I wouldn't be able to pull it off getting home at 2am and having to get up for work at 6:15am!

    I just checked out John Grogan's site. He has a wonderful excerpt from his book there, I sat here laughing out loud! Probably won't go to BW, but will think of you, Amy! I think I'll have to get that book, too.

    It's a great book, I have two signed copies, and just read it for the first time. Wonderful, wonderful book, great author, too.
