OK, my cats are so healthy, other than Butter's occasional skin issues, that I don't exactly know how to react this morning. Mimi is sneezing. It just started this morning. There is no discharge, and she doesn't seem uncomfortable at all. If she wasn't 15 years old, I'd probably not even be asking this question, but she is, so, what would you do? My first inclination is to watch her and if it continues, take her to the vet. But, it's Friday, and my vet isn't open on the weekend.
What would you suggest that I do?
EDIT: I called the vet before even hitting "send" on this message. I'm going to take her in at 4 this afternoon. They said it would be better to be "safe" and go ahead and get her a shot of antibiotics and let him listen to her than to worry all weekend long. I agree. I'll keep you posted, and if you don't mind, send some positive thoughts for my sweet furry girl.

He said he believes it to be an allergy and was not related to her night outside in the rain last night (I don't think I even told you that she spent the night out, last night. I didn't know it until this morning
). Of course, he also reminded me that it could be a blade of grass caught in her throat...he was kidding, but he remembered that we had a mess with her a few years ago and it turned out, after he put her under, that there was one single blade of grass, stuck in her palette! Neither of us have forgotten that episode!
