    Could it be that I get to be the first to welcome the *Doll of the Day* Lucy? She is a real doll and yes, I do love her too. What a kind heart she has to share the joy of her company with people who need cheering up and that ultimate lift that being in the presence of an animal can bring.

    The day that Lucy's person walked into that shelter to find the wonder of a lemon beagle was a lucky day for both person and Lucy. I love hearing of such happy pairings. Thanks for sharing Lucy with the whole world.

    Hi there, sweet Lucy!! I'm not surprised to hear how very loved you are! You're simply the prettiest little "doll baby" Beagle girl! I adore your soft "lemon-ness" and the shine of your glossy coat! I can't believe you once were a shelter inmate. Your person was SO lucky to have been chosen by lovely Lucy to be her forever Mom!! I have to admit, Beagles are on my top 10 favorites list! I just love your spunk and spirit and your willingness to go, go, go!! But you're not just another "pretty face!" What wonderful work you do as well, visiting the senior citizens and hopsitals, spreading your joy and love to those in need of a smile! Yes, we sure DO love you too, beautiful Lucy! Congratulations to our sweetest, most precious, extra special Sunday Dog of the Day!! Enjoy your much deserved day of honor, beautiful Lucy!!

    Lucy, you look so cute all curled up in your little ball. I've never heard of a lemon beagle before. You are very pretty and we're honored to have you as our DOTD. I'm sure all the people at the nursing homes really love seeing you, as well.

    Lucy, what a beautiful beagle princess you are! I am glad you no longer have to breed to make somebody happy! I hope the rest of your life consists of love, lots of fun and special moments. Sounds like your family loves you very much!
