I Rescued Ocean!

(guys, don't get , this thread started in january 2003 -- the same week I registred! ...but more updates are below )

Hello!

Guess what?! I adopted a new sweet and hyper 3 months-old black male kitten today! I'm naming him Ocean Dolce, he already drank a lot of water! I always see a completely black ocean under the moon nearby my home, hope someday he is able to see it from our window. Dolce means "sweet" in Italian Surprisingly, Ocean Dolce already got along with my dog, Mocha and my cat, Zephyra instantly...what a relief! Here's a foto of him, will post the better one after he's awake! Enjoy...

You'd mentioned wanting to rescue a handicapped cat. Does Ocean have health issues, or did you change your mind?

Ocean is sooooo cute and black!!!! Do you think he will have short hair or medium lenghted hair? I really couldn't tell to closely in the photo.

What a cutie he is! Of course I'm kinda partial to the blackies out there. I hope this doesn't preclude you from looking into getting Sweet Pea. I know I'd take Sweet Pea in a heartbeat if I was looking for a kitty and was in California. Glad to hear Ocean fit in so well already.

Thanks! Ocean just mew back to you guys and is telling you that he loves here! No, Ocean doesn't have any health problem, I was already on a progess to adopt Ocean (about an month ago). They, the animal shelter couldn't let me have Ocean until he's a little older - his mother died after I know I'll get one of her furbabies.

About Sweet Pea, no, I'm not giving up on that dearfur, I gotta contact that person after I could find a day that I can go down on a long trip and take him and to check on him!! It was the weekend too, didn't thought sweet pea's shelter was opened, still can't wait! (I'm going to check this thread "3-legged/1-eyed cats", hope someone who owns sweet pea replied back). I will let you know at that thread...cross fingers for me! Thanks again.
