This is Nash, my lovely Lovie! He came to me on a whim, and we have been together for 7 months now! If birds could wear suits he would wear a tux every day... just look how handsome he is!
I got Nash in a spur-of-the-moment type thing. He was in a bad situation and before I knew it, he was my bird! I knew very little about parrots, but I did extensive research and now he is a happy healthy and tame birdy! He is 10 months old now and I've had him for about 6-7 months.
Nash is a big bird's personality shoved into a little bird's body. He thinks he's the alpha dog, no matter who he's dealing with. He loves to "kiss" people and wag his tail when he's happy. He flies to me on command and can say "peek-a-boo" (kinda). His favorite vegetable is carrots and his favorite fruit is dragon fruit! He will do anything for a treat and I'm trying to teach him how to "play dead." He can be very affectionate and crawl inside my shirt and demand to be petedt. When he's feeling handsome he will fluff up all his feathers for you!
He loves to go on adventures in his birdie-backpack! I wish I had some pictures of him in that, but we go out on hikes and sometimes just trips to the store with me. He is not a one-person bird, and will welcome any stranger by shoving his head into their hand so they pet him. He definitely tries to be an alarm clock some days and doesn't miss out on screaming whenever I'm on the phone! His favorite thing to do is take a bath in the sink by rolling around in my hands and just sitting straight under the running water some times! He's the biggest goober I know.
