Not A Stratch! [Bath Pictures] ..

see how many cats I have...? I finally got to bathe all of them few days ago! for a bit over a month, they've been living in three different (safe but dusssty) cellars, moving from one to another. they all are just so greasy, oily and grey that you would need drain, refresh the tub every two-three diiirty cats!

shaddow who went missing for almost two days came back all webby and flithy have got me started! they had all their claws (224 total) clipped too - key & pictures for each of (pathetic after) cat to follow, started with my (avatar) heartcat.

    = loving it!!

    = okay with it, bearable. . .

= yeesh if meowmie's there then I should be ok...hurry up anyway?

    = eek! get me out!!

    zephyra ..

she's cute and funny, not a meow. she made sure keeps eye-contact all the way I sang -a- song.

    ocean ..

poor him, he would just stand there, meow & meeeowing.. love how spiky he looked!

    miles ..

wow, a long cat! he's much calmer if he had his both front paws at least hanging on tub.

    eclypse ..

middle picture, sweet! - she would just let herself hung out under faucet, in my trusty hand!

    clayton ..

he had fun 'swimming' around with cutest froggy paws, lets me to make him look like a punkie. he didn't want to get out later..

    shaddow ..

silly silly girl, she would only stay steady & let bath if I hold her and rub her neck with my figgerie. (:

    whispers ..

yucky! this water tastes! well, bathe me then .. mhmm, are we done?

pfft, that was funny meowmie! she had a blast us splashing water each other heh.

    star ..

but okay, calmer later. realize the water wouldn't hurt her as it was her first bath, good girl! (:

    gus ..

meow..mie .. meow..mie..? am I suppose to lay down? why am I sooo wet? he feels much better when I am holding half of him!

avalanche .. -- (could be bearable)..

oooops! when I put him in, I realized I refreshened the water cold! I bathed him quickly as I can, he was being a good boy. (:

chance .. the worst cat, a quite fighter!

yikes, he's only cat who would dare to bite & stratch...whew. in last picture, he chases his wet tail around crazy.

    echo ..

he was the most wiggy-wiggling bather! staying, wandering around inside tub but whrugging off my hands lol...too cute.

lastly.. all get treats after, of course!

now all are soo clean, softy, smelly & fluffy!

    ...mhmm, ..just one more?

    oh no...

rest and sleep softly sweet locke..

    Not a scratch

Marvelous pictures! They look so cute all sopping wet but after a good rub with a nice comfy towel they must feel a whole lot better. Now to fill those hungry tummies!

Those are great pictures! The one and ONLY time we tried to bath Cammie she -- well the only word I can think of is -- ERUPTED! She exploded in a fury of sounds and movements that made it impossible to continue. That's been almost 3 years and we've never tried again. Luckily, she is much too busy sleeping to get dirty and she grooms herself very well.

OMG, Gina, you deserve top honors for bathing all those cats! And you're still alive! The fact that the cats let you bathe them shows the amount of trust they place in you. The pictures were wonderful, but that one of Miles looks downright scary.

Wow!!! Were you able to do all them in one day? If so that's amazing. I had to bathe Storm, Sunny, and Sky and I thought I'd never get them done in one day. I bet they all smell and feel wonderful now.

Wow, great job, Gina! You did this yourself? I am impressed! Usually it took Jeff and me to get the job done, but you managed beautifully. And, such cooperative kitties; that helps.

We used to do our guys in a laundry tub and Jeff made up a special board (just some plywood) which he covered with a carpet remnant. We stuck it in the tub on a slant, so that the cats could have something to cling to. It made them feel more secure.

I always loved it after they got bathed; they would shake their legs, walk around like they were embarrassed, then get down to licking themselves dry! They were always so nice and fluffy!!

    Loved all the pictures!

I just went back and looked at Echo's last picture....what a GLARE!
Loving meowmie to Archy & Binky (RIP my sweet boy 10/13/10)

Wow Gina, you are VERY courageous!! Washing 1 cat is difficult; washing 2 cats is war..... so I don't think I want to what you did

So, what did you say when you were done with the washing??
