    Grant's 2nd Birthday......UPDATED w/pics of Dog Show!!

    was yesterday and no I didn't forget. I will do a better thread later on today as I am going to a dog show today. I went yesterday and I am going back today with my camera. Grant had a good day, got another new toy and he got to eat his big chewy bone I got him. So, I should have some pics coming along later.

    Enjoy the dog show. Too bad Grant won't get to go. Oh well, if you bring him home another big chewy bone I think he will forgive you.

    Ok I am back to drop off Sadie and take Grant. Can only take 1 dog at a time. Good thing I only live 5 minutes from the dog show.

    August 20th, 2005 was the day you were brought home from the shelter. What a shy boy you were at first. It has been a long 5 months and we are still working on everything. It has been quite an experience but one I wouldn't trade for the world. You keep me on my toes. I want to wish you a very happy birthday handsome boy.

    **At the dog show today they had a Doggie Fun Zone so I let Grant go through it. I think I have an agility dog on my hands (well duh Amber, he is a herding dog). He went through on his 2nd run at 27.78. Not bad for his first time. His 1st run was like 32 something, so he did a lot better 2nd time around. He was barking waiting his turn to go the 2nd time. He was so excited. I wish I had a pic but I couldn't take pics and catch him at the end at the same time. He went through a course that had jumps, tunnels and an A-Frame. Crazy boy was going like a bat out of hell through there. He then got to race a Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier but that dog got a bad start and Grant just kept going, that dog just came back to its owner. Grant was like yeah right I'm outta here. Alright, I'll get some of the dog show pics posted next.


    Kay, I just heard about it this week. Next year maybe we can go.

    That picture is of a Clumber Spaniel. Those dogs are gorgeous. So soft and wow do their ears weigh a ton. I was petting a female 6 month old yesterday and she was so soft but her ears, man they were heavy. Awesome dogs.
