new puppy marking other dog's beds!

My new puppy Dharma is peeing on the other dog's beds! I'm pretty sure that she isn't desperate to go as I have taken out her outside just prior to one event. She peed a few times on my female collie's bed and then peed on a newly purchased bed once or twice. Is this marking behaviour and if so, why? What can I do to keep her from doing this?

Oh my, Lane, you are taking me back to the days of Hannah the Horrible. She would pee on her OWN dog bed. Maybe it happened five or six times in all or maybe I am repressing a few times. But eventually, and I do mean eventually, she outgrew the notion. I, went into the "crazy lady" mode when she did this, which was the only thing that ever made an impression on her. I swear, Hannah was the worst puppy alive. She almost made me insane. I tell you this because there was a point I almost gave up on her. I am so glad I didn't. Persistance, patience, determination all paid off in the long run. Months turn into years and eventually these things are overcome.

Crazy Lady Mode: "You peed on your bed! You peed on your bed? You don't pee on your bed!
You pee outside!!! .Out...Out...Out....Damn You Hannah, You Pee outside!!!!"

My dog, Ashley, jumped up on my brand new comforter that hadn't been on my bed 5 minutes and peed!!! I thought maybe there was some sort of smell in it that she reacted to. Got to confess.....I also went into the "Crazy Lady Mode." Also asked her what was the matter with her? Like she was going to answer!

Well, I can't say enough thank you prayers since I never had that problem. But my neighbor's male pug peed on beds, pillows, found knooks under tables and peed. My question is why? Is it dominance, odor? They asked ME and were surprised Cody never did and asked me for advise! Pfftt.(supressed laughter) Soo.. why? Good Show Rachel!! I enjoyed your dramatic display!!

My sister's puppy, Scooby Doo, is a peeing machine!! He can go over 8 hours in his crate and not pee but when he is out you can practically follow his trail thru the house!
He does have trouble with dominance, if you dominate him, he pees, and all my dad has to do is look at him and he pees. My dog looks at my dad and thinks GRANPA!!
Scooby is getting better tho, but its been a struggle.
