    My favorite gift this year...

I got some great presents this year--nothing that qualifies for the bad gift thread! I got my new camera, earrings, 24 on DVD, lots of nice little things. But these are my favorite:

My Mom had these cork tiles made for me. I knew she was up to something when she asked for a picture of Dominique. I don't know where she got the picture of Hoodoo. It's an oldie and wasn't taken on a digital. It is one of my favorite pic of him though.

The cat painting in the middle was a birthday gift from my 10 year old niece. It's a kit painting, but she worked really hard on it. I think she did a great job! She thinks it's my Petey cat!

    Hoodoo's tile.

    And Dominique's.

Fortunately, Mom told me to open them early and when I was alone. That way I didn't spend Christmas morning in tears in front of our guests!

That is soooo neat! And the pic of Hoodoo, even though it is an older one, it is a really nice picture of him. Now that would be fun if you could get one of everyone of your dogs/cats!

Those are tremendous gifts! I'm the same way, I had no gifts that went on the bad gift list, and, my favorite was a handmade crocheted scarf from my niece...it's not always the fanciest, most expensive ones that top the list. They're all beautiful...and, the painting is very good!

That is so very sweet of your mother. I love the tiles, and the painting too. It was good she told you to open them early. I would have been crying, too. Glad you had some happiness for Christmas.

I have to say they are all amazing, the cork board pictures as well as the wonderful painting from your niece.
You are truly blessed with a loving family.
