With my new appreciation for Cockatiels, I just had to be first to comment on Momo! What a great story and pictures!!! It is interesting to learn that the males sing more. Our Roger certainly is quite vocal and learning new things every single day! We adore him and I know we would adore you too, Momo!! You are so handsome and we congratulate you on being a perfect Pet of the Day!!!

I love that, Momo with a best friend called Spock. Momo what beautiful coloring you have and the photo of you is beautiful.

OMG!! The second I saw "Sweden" as your home, and "Spock" as your sibling, I knew this family had visited us before!! Spock, how wonderful to learn you have a new sibling!! It sounds like you two are getting along splendidly, and bringing such joy and laughter into your new home, prancing about and singing up a storm! And how wonderful that in such a short while, you and your brother have become the best of "buds;" even sharing the same cage!! Momo and Spock rule the roost! What a pleasure it was to meet you Momo! It was so nice to hear from your family and learn of their new addition! Congratulations to Momo, our very beautiful, sweetly singing Pet of the Day!! Helen saw Momo and Spock and said "Wow"!! She even brought Roger over to the computer monitor to check them out, although he isn't fooled by pictures. He wants the real thing!!!!

Momo is beautiful! I just recently adopted a cockatiel myself, (mine is named Nimbus) and they are such wonderful creatures! I have never had a bird before, and have done a lot of reading in these past several weeks. Based on the info there, it seems that Momo may be a female...as the colors are more muted, and the tail feathers are still banded-boys usually have all grey tail feathers once they reach 6 months old. Wouldn't it be a wonderful surprise if Spock and Momo started a family? Tee hee hee. Enjoy them both! What fun!
