I am new here with a new puppy! Sort of a long story, but she is a schnoodle that is 12 weeks old. One of her littermates had Coccidosis? and the entire litter was treated for 7 days with Albon. She tested neg. when I first got her. Anyway, a few days ago she had loose bowels and no appetite. You could actually hear her stomach gurgling across the room. She would not play, eat, or drink. I took her in to see the vet and he gave her Albon again and a pill that I am not sure what it is.... to be taken twice a day. She seemed much better the next day and was eating again and playing. Well, today she started again with the loose bowels, gurgly stomach and no appetite. She is also having some really smelly gas! Her diet has remained the same. Just Iams puppy food (dry). She hasn't had ANYTHING different to eat. Does anyone know anything about this virus that can shed some light on it for me? I thought she was over it, and now it's here again!!! THANKS!!!
