    Young at heart pics...

I gave Earle a new stuffy last night, but he didn't feel like playing much. Sleet stole the monkey.

She may be 12, but she can still play!

"Back off, the monkey is mine."

The monkey has since been reduced to piles of stuffing spread all around the house. Her eyes are cloudy and her hips are getting stiff, but no stuffy is a match for Sleet!

Good girl Sleet! You sound like a world class stuffy unstuffer. You are a very, very pretty girl.

How sweet. I'm glad Sleet can still appreciate a good stuffy. That's how old Duke is now, too. Doesn't it make you feel good to see them acting like a puppy at times?

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.

I love watching her play. She cracks me up. Hobo has been very good for her. He often brings out the puppy in Sleet. They are very good friends. Technically, he's a senior too, but he has no idea he's supposed to be calming down!

The last picture kinda shocked me. She actually looks old in it, at least to me. I never see the cloudy eyes, grey muzzle, ect when I look at Sleet. I still see her as she was 5 years ago when she first arrived!
