    Earle to the white coats...

Could you all keep your paws crossed for Earle? Lately, he's been cranky and lethargic. He's also gained a bunch of weight in a short amount of time, with no diet changes. All classic symptoms of an underactive thyroid. Even Stuart noticed and suggested that Earle needs to see the vet....Stuart never suggests that unless something is obviously wrong.

Earle has a vet appointment tomorrow. I'm feeling a little panicky(is that a word? ). Hoodoo showed many of the same symptoms as Earle is. I had every test possible run on Hoodoo and everything was pretty much normal. Two weeks later Hoodoo was dead. Earle is Hoodoo's littermate. Since we never found out exactly what caused Hoodoo's death, the thought that it was genetic or somehow affects Earle as well is always in my mind when Earle is under the weather.

A thyroid problem is easy to treat. I already have the meds even as Preacher is hypothyroid. I am hoping and praying to any deity who might listen that nothing more serious than that is wrong with Earle!

Prayers for you and Earle. I hope all turns out to be an easy solution. I've asked my fur angels and skin angels to keep a close eye on the situation.

All fingers and paws will be crossed here hoping the outcome is just a thyroid problem.
