    Another Mishi!

I was browsing the San Francisco SPCA website yesterday and to my shock, delight and amazement - there's another MISHI! He's also a long-haired (looks at least part Maine Coon) Orangie boy with nose and lip freckles! I think I'm going to try and visit this guy.

    MISHI - ID#A057934

I am a neutered male, org tabby domestic lh.

The shelter thinks I am about 6 years old.

Mishi is a regal gentleman! He can be shy in new situations, but when he is comfortable, he is a true love muffin. He loves cheek and head pets, and will purr happily. He can be quite playful, but please don't pet him until he is calmed down from the play - a tail swish means he needs a break from attention. A great companion for a quiet, loving home.

Oooo... looks like fate is pointing you towards kitty #3! Are you thinking of possibly adopting him?

He could be a fantastic brother to Mitzi and Mishi- but how would you call him? I am sure your own Mishi would feel hurt in his identity if there was another one with the same name. But how about Mishka?

The sad thing is that I know my Mishi isn't going to last too much longer with his failing kidneys. I haven't posted pictures because he's gotten so thin with the protein wasting from the kidney disease and his fur looks funky. He's still my spunky, silly goon and he's doing pretty good right now with the right diet, Sub-Q fluids every day or so and my and Mitzi's everloving TLC. But he has had some rough days when I know he's not feeling well and there's not too much I can do except to make sure he's comfortable. My poor boybee.

I wouldn't want to get another kitty right now with the big M's failing health. I was prompted to look because someone at my firm brought in a mom and two kittens yesterday that they had rescued. All three cats are going to good homes.

Promise you'll give your Mishi some little headbumpies from me and tell him lots of comfy vibes are coming his way too?
