    scrawny little girl

molli finally got her hair cut today!! the lady had to shave her because i coulden't keep up with her hair and they had some matts. the earliest we could've got her in was three weeks! anyways, she is sooooo tiny and thin. if you have ever seen a toy poodle when its somewhat shaved- you'd know. what my question is, is she TOO skinny?? i can't see her ribs or spine but i can feel them very well while i pet her. she is only 5 pounds and 9 inches tall.

She sounds fine! An ideal weight for a dog is when you can easily feel the ribs (you shouldn't feel a layer of fat over them) and they have a defined waistline when looking from above. If you see the ribs, she's too skinny, if you feel a layer of fat or don't see a waistline, she's too fat.
