    Group Memberships?

I dopn't know if this is a new feature or not but I just noticed it when the layout was changed.

    What exactly is group memberships?

edited to add that this is the box at the bottom right hand corner of your profile page.

I think they are just "groups" that you can either add people to or be in... and I'm not 100% sure, but I know what I'm talking about I just don't know how to describe it LOL

It is possible in this software to define groups, and that way only members of a particular group would be able to see certain forums.

One way this would be useful is if, for example, Paul and I weren't married to each other, we could set up a "moderators only" group where we "moderator and administrator types" could discuss things without anyone else seeing it.

It could be used to divide people into separate groups, but we have no interest is separating "dog lovers" from "cat lovers" from "pet lovers" - we are all, every one of us, animal lovers, or we wouldn't belong to this place!

We have no groups defined on Pet Talk, everyone sees everything.
