    How's Peanut?

    How's little Peanut doing?
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers

    Awww....thanks for asking you guys.

Peanut is doing great! She's still her goofy little self and Saturday morning, she went tearing by me again, flies up on the bed and proceeds to terrorize her little mousie until she gets too excited and flips the mouse off the bed. We all know once the mouse is on the floor it's no fun anymore, so I picked it up and tossed it to her and she proceeded to terrorize it again - doing the bunny kick to it and all.

This morning she did an abreviated version of this whole scene because I didn't have as much time to spend with her since I had to get read for the dreaded w-o-r-k.

I still see not even a hint of straining when she pees, and yes, I see her pee quite a bit because she seems to need to go everytime I do. So that, along with her still being her goofy little self, and the fact that she is still a little piggy when it comes to food, tells me she is still feeling fine and I have nothing to worry about in the immediate future.

    This is great news!!!!!

Debbie, I thought about you and Peanut last night when Helen had 6 friends over to spend the night. Actually, they were such nice girls and had a blast piling up in the middle of the living room floor, in front of the fireplace, with Mimi right in the middle of the pile!!! That old lady was in heaven with all the attention and warm bodies!!! Wonder what Peanut would have thought?
Butter stayed in Scott's recliner, just daring any of them to try and take his spot (which they did not, wisely).

    Good for Mimi!

Peanut probably would have been a little skeptical at first, but when the girls settled down a bit she would most certainly have made the rounds to be duly adored as every princess should be.
