[ Fall Scenery Pics ] from Algonquin Park, ON ;)

Last sunday, we went to a small town called Dorset, which is near Algonquin Park, Ontario..Its a few hours north of Toronto (where I live) In Dorset, there was a very tall tower thing that people can go up to and see for miles & miles away. There were alot of small ponds around the area, and the view was just gorgeous Anyways, I have some pics to show you all

    Walking up the mountain..

    The tower..

It was pretty scary climbing up lol. It was soo high & when there was wind it was kinda shaking..

The tower was taller than all the trees! (We walked all the way up to the box thing up there)

    More pics coming..

Then we took a walk in the woods..

There were these huge binocular things in front of the lake, and when you look through at exactly the right position, you see this

(looks like the canoe is actually in the water)

    Few more..

lol getting down was soo much scarier than going up. Some people were practically sitting on the steps & going down one at a time

    Great pics!

My cottage is in the same area, just a little south east of that location. I've been going up there for many years but have never been to Dorset. After seeing these pics I'll have to make sure to go by there to check out the sights.

If you want another neat area to visit check this out (same area as Dorset):
    Haliburton Forest and Wildlife Reserve

    Thanks for sharing!
