    A day with Trout

Hey, all. I just wanted to share with you all what I consider a small triumph. I went up to see my niece with my mother today. We took a trip to Petsmart, and, she was asking me what kind of food to feed Trout. So, I showed her how to read the ingredients on the back of the bags, and, what to look for. She bought Royal Canin for her new kitten! YAY! Not a huge thing, but, at least I know he won't be fed a crappy food. She bought him some really adorable toys, and, a new collar! It's red with a little red bell. Of course, the bell drives him ape, but, hopefully, he'll get used to it. It's good for now so that she can hear where he's at. And, she bought him a carrier that we set up in the living room with the door open so that he can start getting used to it. Anyway, no major news, just wanted to share that little bit of goodness with you guys. Here are three photos...

His new red collar, doesn't he look dashing?

    long trout!

not a good photo, but, for some reason, I liked it...he looks like a big wild cat

Hope you guys liked...Not sure when I'll get up there again, but, I'll be sure to make at least a monthly trip so that I can show Trout as he grows up!

    OMG Trout is adorable!

He looks so dashing in his red collar!

Love the EXTREME NOSE CLOSEUP - that's what happens here too when I try to take pics at floor level - I end up with nose and tongue prints on the lens

Thanks Kay for my great sig & avatar!!!

Oh my gosh, I just realised how much Trout looks like my Zazou! Zazou's fur is much longer, but the markings are similar! Look at the pawsies too!

I think he's between seven and eight weeks, but, I can't be sure. Robyn said they said he was about that old.

He's so adorable and I think that red is his color. I'm glad to hear that he'll be eating a good quality cat food.
