A new Crown Prince has been born in Denmark.

Early this morning Princess Mary gave birth to our new Crown Prince. We're all exited, of course.

    Here's the story: http://denmark.dk/portal/page?_pagei..._itemid=879018

Wonderful, Randi, I'll bet your whole coutry is thrilled right now.
I'm sometimes asked "Why do you spend so much of your time and money talking about kindness to animals when there is so much cruelty to men?" I answer: "I am working at the roots." -George T. Angell, reformer (1823-1909)

Wonderful news. Congratulations, to the royal couple and to Denmark!!

p.s. I read this in a news article from the BBC:

'The Danish royal family traces its roots back to Gorm the Old, a Viking king who died in 958.'

Congrats- this makes sure you can conserve royalty for at least one more generation

  10. I'll have to watch for the latest "Magesty" magazine to see photos!

That was fast...weren't they just married?

I think they were married in April last year, so quite appropiate.

    Copenhagen Post: http://www.cphpost.dk/

Here are some front pages from all over the world. On page 5 there are pictures of Mary and Frederik. http://www.newseum.org/todaysfrontpages/

..... and English Online International Newspapers: http://www.inkdrop.net/dave/news.html

I haven't even seen a picture of the boy yet, but I bet I will if I turn the TV on! Everybody is guessing names of course.

Randi can keep us informed, but the article says that more than likely tradition will be followed - and his name will be either Christian or Frederik.
