Prayers for our good friend, Alicia, and Carina

I'm not going to go into a lot of detail, but please offer your good thoughts and prayers for Alicia (Albea) and Carina. They are both going through some pretty difficult health issues right now, and Alicia is very concerned about Carina (Golden Retriever....12 years old) and some surgery she is potentially facing. She has torn her cruciate ligament and is currently under the vet's care at his office.

Alicia is obviously very concerned about doing what is best for Carina at her age.

I realise that Alicia might be too occupied with Carina to post anything

Alicia is supposed to pick up Carina today from the vet and she will be able to talk with him then about the next step. I'll let you know if I hear something and perhaps she'll pop in and post herself.

Logan thanks for posting this, I knew I hadn't seen them around much here lately.
I hope things are going ok and let her know they are both in my thoughts and prayers.

Carina is home. Thank goodness. Based on what I understand from Alicia, she and the vet have decided that surgery at this point, is not a wise decision for Carina. They are going to try to keep Carina confined a bit, away from the stairs and try some new medication to help with the pain.

I know Alicia will appreciate all your good thoughts and prayers.

Logan, thanks so much for starting this thread, I finally found it.
And thank you all for your prayers and good thoughts. I posted the latest news about Carina earlier today. Now I'm rushing back downstairs so I can be with my girl.
